If you are a student planning to attend the 2008 Emerging Faces in Hispanic Advertising Conference at the University of Texas at El Paso during September, please read below to find information on available scholarships for you.

Full ($100) and half ($50) registration scholarships will be offered to students who otherwise might not be able to attend the conference. Scholarships are intended to offset the registration fee and do not fund travel, lodging or entertainment.

Any scholarship applicant who does not receive a scholarship will be able to register at the regular conference registration rate.

Application Procedure

1. Complete the application below by typing or printing neatly in English.

2. All scholarship applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college and have full-time (12 hour minimum) status. Please submit a photocopy of your fall schedule of classes and a photocopy of your university student identification card.

3. Mail the completed application along with your registration form to the address listed below. Please do not register online. The application must be received by August 1, 2008.

4. All applications will be reviewed by the Conference Scholarship Committee. Applicants will be notified by August 8, 2008.

5. Applicants who have been awarded a scholarship need to accept the scholarship in writing by August 18, 2008. Upon notification, scholarship recipients must register for the conference by August 24, 2008. If these deadlines are not met the scholarship will be forfeited and reissued to another applicant.
